March 3, 2015 Board Meeting Agenda Item #11 Title ENTRY OF FINAL ORDER Description The School Board must enter a Final Order in the case of School Board v. Dorey.  Administrative Law Judge Robert E. Meale entered a Recommended Order recommending dismissing the proposed termination. The Superintendent filed exceptions to the Recommended Order. Subsequently, Mr. Dorey resigned his employment.  The Proposed Final Order adopts the Findings of Fact in the Recommended Order and finds the remaining issues moot as Mr. Dorey's employment has already ended. Recommendation That the Final Order in the case of School Board of Sarasota County, Florida v. Harvey Dorey, Case No. 14-4279, be adopted as presented.
